Wake up its the internet in 2008. If you havnt noticed people dont type with proper grammer, or really dont care to do so! do you talk like that on MSN or AIM as well? If I really need to type properly, its going to be on an essay or something.

i liked the game although i am far from finishing it, i think most of you prefer SA because you could relate to it better.

They were all framed by a crooked cop, with Samuel L Jackson's voice?

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

Most people trying to demonstrate their intelligence or maturity DO type with proper grammar, spelling and punctuation, because to do otherwise makes you look like a twelve year old. (Hint-hint.) Note how most other people in this thread have done so. And besides that, does it really take that much effort to push the shift key on occasion and spell your words correctly?

"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."

I like the game but i've never been a big fan of liberty city. It looks fantastic but it's no Vice City.

I don't usually agree with illiterate people, but this game was a definite step down for the series. It has to be expected that the world in this game wouldn't be as huge as San Andreas, but it was due to the fact that a brand new engine had to be developed and most of the time was spent on graphical changes.

Just like how GTA3 is disappointing compared to the Playstation 2 sequels, I'd expect the next game to feature a larger world and more interesting gameplay now that the core engine is complete.

my 83 average in english disagrees with that statement

your inability to spell agrees with it

OT: I have really enjoyed the game, in SA I was frustrated many times by the shooting system, which although it was good, did not really allow me to get the headshots etc. but the new system works really well. I also feel this has a much better story and I prefer Nico to CJ, I don't really know why, but Nico is more of a beleivable character, and the story is better told. Liberty City itself is just amazing, the attention to detail is brilliant. Personally, I never really cared for the exercising stuff, and while the gang wars was fun, it really does not fit in with the setting or the story, and this game is much more story driven

I don't think its been a letdown so far. I just think the press made it out to be much more then it real is. There is lots to do and to experience, but at the same time I think the press reviews have been on the ridiculous side.

The game is more like low 90's to me.

San Andreas more things to do lots more fun and bigger worlds than GTA IV. GTA IV plagued by the shit driving controls.  Boring and repetitive missions. Short main story can be completed within 15 hours. Reviews mean nothing.

No I think its awesome. Best characters of any game todate. You just have to like Niko although he's a thug. Driving is improved, the city is awesome and looks wonderful (esp. at night). Best GTA and one of the best games ever.

I even enjoyed GTAIII more than GTAIV, the variety of missions and all the mobs you could work for in GTAIII makes it a better game for me. My favorite is still Vice City, and SA is a great game too, but for me GTAIV is weak compared to the PS2 games...
