Holy cow. I did just click Microsoft Discussion and not Sony Discussion right?

Where'd all these Sony fans come from? O.o

*slowly backs out of this thread...*

What? So Microsoft fans can swarm the Sony forum, but when the reverse happens it's shocking?

I suppose that speaks volumes...

You mean all 4 MS fans? I'd hardly call that a swarm

Blu-Rays are scratch-proof, that's why your PS3 games aren't scratched. Oh, and because the PS3 isn't a poorly designed piece of crap.

Give it until the Sony exclusive ' break down 1 week after the warranty expires' chip kicks in!!

It did wonders for PS2 sales.

Ah, the beauty of planned obsolescence.

I'm not a big Sony fan, but the polycarbonate they used on the Blu-ray discs was a great move.  It makes them just about indestructable, although I'm sure someone will find a way.  How does the saying go? "You can't make anything idiot-proof because someone will just make a better idiot."

Maybe he wanted access to the DLC.

I have yet to experience a single hardware malfunction in the almost 2 years I have had my 360. Either I am really really lucky or a lot of these stories are blown out of proportion. Hmm... I wonder which one it is.

Sorry to hear that, especially as it's GTA 4. Damn 360! My brother's had this problem a couple of times with his 360. I hope you can get it replaced.

Blu-Rays are not scratch proof. It doesn't take much to scratch them.  I have intentionally scratched my copy of Talledega Nights. They are more resiliant than CDs and DVDs though but go ahead and leave you blu rays on a table for a while unprotected they will scratch and become unreadable
