Well, this would involve closing Section 8.1. And if you are worried about recruiting, obviously the best thing to do would be to allow you to monitor the amount of members on the site. If they really just want a place to chat freely, a 20 member forum should be more than sufficient for this. As you said, 50 members is too much to argue as a group of close friends. If Kenzo agreed to shut that place down and start up a forum for just friends with no possibilities of expansion there shouldn't be any fears of taking over membership. Unfortunately, it's hard to continue this discussion without Kenzo...

1. We never wanted to be more that 50 or so... we where still figuring out who wants what friends in but it would never have gotten more than 50-60... much les is more likely...

3. There never where elitist ideas or badmouthing involved in the principles of sec8, ssj12 even was a mod there to secure that VGChartz rules still apply...

So if we stop inviting members up to the number of say 50 and we give ioi or a mod of his choice the ability to check if everything is going normaly there we are good ??? As I said before I can´t speak for everyone at sec 8 but this does sound like a fair compromise...

We should probably resolve this topic till later. Kenzo should be a part of this discussion obviously as the owner of S8.1, and ioi and others of course need to sleep.

I would like to start by saying I am more then willing to compromise, and feel NAZ’s suggestions are more then applicable. I will go into my thoughts on that in a minute but first I would like to apologies for everything that has lead to this point.

I feel that everyone here can appreciate the fact that we are only human and sometimes our emotions get the best of us. I know in my own life I have said things to loved ones I do not mean, and I have said things about them that they may not appreciate when they are out of the room. I think we have all been there, and know that those times do not reflect are true feelings of someone.

As to my thoughts on the compromise, I like what has been said. 20 members would be fine with me. No recruiting almost goes without saying at this point. Closing it down is fine though I prefer to keep the same address for the new one. So is this something we can work out?

How exactly is recruitment here controlled? They get voted in by members, how is that different from the other section 8, and why is that labelled an elitest society?

@ ioi, how do you remove the 30 other users? You cannot just ask them to leave without insulting many of them
