I probably wont be getting one before LittleBigPlanet comes along. You can take pictures with the Eye and use them as stickers in the game, so you can put a box over a sackboy's head and smack your own face on it.
Aside from that, I think SCEE is working on a new Eye Toy game. Eye Toy Hero or something like that

I use and love it as a microphone since it doesn't require me to have anything on my ears. If I'm too far away from it, some people complain that they can't hear me, but that might be because of the echo. It can and will pick up background conversations, so use it in a room where you are alone.

In chat rooms, you can use it as a mic and camera. Other people don't need to have a camera to see your feed. You can turn off your video transmission while still broadcasting your voice. Picture quality is great with proper lighting and bandwidth. My friends often have other people in the room with them (gfs, siblings or parents) who are cool and since the mic can pick up all of their voices better than a headset, we all converse and have fun together.

The current PSN games that use it are great tech demos (and fun for a time) of what the gaming potentials are.

Wow, that's a cool LBP feature. I was just listening to an old 1up Yours podcast and was reminded that Rainbow 6 Vegas 2 lets you scan your face into the game. I believe it creates a 3d model. You can do that with any webcam, but the Playstation Eye really is a great webcam for the price, as Dogs Rule attests to.

With singstar you can record your singing session (video or audio) and share online, or just watch again or save locally on your harddrive.

I think more games are going to use the camera for such things as putting your own face in games and stuff like that. Isn't that possible in Tiger Woods?

Nice. It also works as a PC webcam, as far as I have heard.
