Forums - Gaming - Where Will Kingdom Hearts 3 Go?

I find it somewhat amusing that two of the posters in this thread completely stopped responding to me after I challenged them to actually address the entire substance of my rebuttals to them. I can only conclude that they felt unable to live up to such a challenge.

I am sure they didn't announced where this game will be on so they could read threads like this.

You pathetic PS3/Wii fanboys will all get pwned when they announce it on X360 you will see =p.

Thread is still hot... Still debating on where it should go huh?

PS3 gets my vote.

THE GAME will go to whichever console disney wants it on.

period.

in MY opinion the Most likely candidate is the wii.

1) the Wii is dominating the japanese charts (non handheld)
2) the Wii is dominating in sales WW (world leader in all markets- or will be by july(us))
3) the Wii could use a AAA game like this to bolster its portfolio of games.

the other way KH3 could go is...mulitplatform and then the wii would most likely get the spinoff with the ps360 getting the main game,

but for an exclusive game wii is the format it should be on
for a multiplatform game the ps360 is the format it should be on (more ps360's on the market than wii's. currently.

You don't know if that is the case by the time the kh3 comes out. I also highly doubt it would sell more than 500k on the 360 seeing the kind of games 360 owners like.

S-E should just do what they really want to do and release KH3 in cinemas.

All in all arguing what development tools and engine can work when and where is moot as its basically a hypothetical tug of war between those who want it to be on the Wii and those who absolutely don't.

In the End, the Wii is the prime choice, no one can argue that. Does that mean its garanteed to go to the Wii? No. But you'd have to be a fool or overly optimistic to think its not the prime candidate.

The hesitation to announce the console could be the result of two things, 1. there is a power struggle between Disney and Sony/Square-Enix over what platform to put it on, or 2. Square-Enix, like most developers, are waiting till MGS4 is released before deciding whether to commit fully to the Wii.

I think the later is more likely, in fact, I feel most likely that every major Eastern developer wants to support the PS3 over the Wii but are hesitant and its not unthinkable that MGS4 would be the real deal breaker as to whether the Wii or the PS3 is the viable console for their flagship games.

I don't know where will it go, maybe for the wii...

It should go to the PS360 bcause it has more gamers?

No. Just no. That arguement is completely flawed.

1) Gamers overlap. There may be only 40 million gamers instead of what numbers are on the front page.

2) By the time KH3 is announced, the Wii will be greater than PS360 combined.

3) Why the hell do you not put it out on the highest userbase that will sell it good? The Wii is pretty damn obvious. Read Sqrl's arguement on why. Wii = Casual. KH = Somewhat Casual. Wii is about equal to KH.
