Forums - Nintendo - What does VGChartz think of Phantom Hourglass and New Super Mario Bros.?

I see a lot of people who don't like the fetch quest in the WW which I understand but I personally liked it because it was laid back, relaxing and in Zelda games I usually go around looking in every nook and cranny anyway so it gave me an excuse to do it.

My problem with the repeating dungeon in PH was that I had to be careful about my exploring or I might run out of sand and die.

All in all they are both great games. NSMB is an awesome game that any fan of 2d games should play.

I still cannot understand the hatred of the Triforce quest.

ZELDA IS ABOUT EXPLORATION...it makes you EXPLORE...yet, it is universally hated!? I really do not understand it. I think people are just jumping on the bandwagon with it. I've never seen anyone in real life who actually really thought it was that bad.

MAYBE if you saved it all for the very end, but who does that? On all three of my TWW playthroughs I have spread it out, and I like it that way. And how is it unrewarding? The ending of TWW is definitely the best of any Zelda.

I can understand maybe not liking it (I mean, I wish they would have put in 1-2 more dungeons instead of it, but I'm glad they put it in rather then just completing the Wind Temple and then going down to Hyrule...plus, it was a good tour of the Great Sea) but calling it "mindnumbingly boring" and "not able to play through the game a second time" because of it, is frankly, totally ridicolous.
