I think the graphics are simillar but the light engine (colors)are obviously much better on the Geow2.

Gears 2 blows Gears 1 out of the water in terms of graphics.

Crap. There is a HUGE difference. Especially in the size, scope and number of rendered objects.

seriously, what's the point. the second one will look better because its the second one. And frankly this game looks great no matter what. And, gameplay wise, this game might get a 10.

It's already the talk of the town even at this early stage it's taking away the limelight from other soon released AAA titles, it looks amazing, and the amount of creatures moving along the ground whilst all that action is going on really gives credit to the 360s power..

Looks quite a bit better, but that's mostly due to lighting. There are other improvements, I'm sure, but none of them stand out like the lighting. To be honest, I think they should have been capable of that to begin with. But that's just me.

Looks good. I enjoyed the first game. Question is will the game length be up to scratch too?

I couldn't see much improvement in graphics but the environments look far bigger than the first game with much more on screen at once. And the chainsaw battle looked fuggin' AWESOME!

Gears of War 2 vs Resistance 2- I can't f***ing wait until November.

This game will be amazing. Third week in November , Gears of War 2 will be here.
