Meh. This just shows what most people have known for a long time now. GT is one of the most blatently biased game sites out there. I've ignored their PS3 stuff for a long time but, as others have noted, they do provide a good service otherwise. If you ignore all the PS3 bias, they're a pretty good site.

Why don't you roll around to their GTA4 and DMC4 videos both look better on PS3 from all reviewers except GT. Then come back and post.

Everything you just asked me can be answered with one simple statement:

It's Saturday. Chances are, the people in charge who make these kinds of decisions aren't in the office and GT is just keeping mum until Monday.

I have watched the videos. I think a lot of this confusion might stem from the fact that video isn't being captured by HDMI on the PS3. I noticed a pretty big difference between component and HDMI on the console when I finally bought my HDMI-enabled AV receiver.

Then they are still biased by not using a properly set up PS3. I don't see why you are defending them its clear they are slimy bastards.

You can't capture HDMI without an SDK from Sony. Not that hard to understand why they don't use it.

What am I upset about? Seriously, some of you people are insane. In this thread, I've said that GT has an incompetent staff if they posted this to the site without checking it. That's hardly a ringing endorsement for the site.

Oh, and it's bad form to call a moderator a fanboy. Especially one who owns every current gen system and hates them all for various reasons.

So intentionally not making the PS3 look good by giving it those settings in't biased?

Also, this is challenging your belief that Gametrailers is a non biased site because it favors the 360.

Well, that means they have an SDK and there is no bloody reason for that video to suck so much. I still think it was probably due to incompetence and not malice, but that's just me.

I'm sorry, but I'm calling you a fanboy, whether of the 360, or Gametrailers, you can pick.

The amount of evidence that GT is biased towards the PS3 is massive, and you trying to put it off on a simple mistake shows something in your mind is making you ignore the evidence. Whether thats because you favor the 360 or just Gametrailers I do not know.
