Forums - Sony - Haze Demo

The demo was bland. Action was nonexistent. Graphics are not very detailed or sharp. I'd dare say by the looks of it, the demo is not in Hi-Def. They should've shown more nectar stuff. It's a differentiation factor for the game and the demo didn't show it adds that much to gameplay. Online worked flawlessly. Overall the demo is short, too easy (even on hard mode) and lacks exposure of more features from the game they could've shown in a short video included in the demo.

You have a PS3, with those sigs?  It looks like your problem was just that the Haze demo didn't show the game that well.  Cool, from a MS fanb- ...ahem, fan, that's pretty good I guess.

Greenberg's statements are weak shit.

Still Downloading. I try do DL the biggest demos first so I started with bourne, on Haze now, next is Grid then Iron Man. 20MB's a minute seems fast when you come off dial-up but downloading this demo it feels slow.

I tried to download it earlier today, but my connection died on me. So, I'm gonna have to try again later. I'm definitely looking forward to it, though.

I really hate this demo.

The only good thing in it were the graphics and even that wasn't blowing me away.

The AI is terrible, sniping boring, guns weren't fun. The worse thing by far is the dialogue, I wanted to kill everyone on my team.

Easy breeze-y Japanese-y???????? What the shit was that?

Then the dying boxer, just laugh out loud garbage.

In addition to all that, the demo was not fun and really didn't excite me at all.

So unless the full game has much better levels and weapons and is more fun and exciting, I will stear clear of it and its mind numbingly idiotic dialogue.

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

The demo is good, co-op is kind of wierd though, i played about 10 matches all of whcih i spent trying to avoid being killed by my teammates.

This.

I guess you dont realise Magnific0 always sides with Sony, but you cant accept that the demo still wasnt up to standards? Haha. So PS3 fans MUST like all PS3 games? Haha. His sig was meant to throw it back at Greenberg's face.

I liked the demo, its alright. The finished product should be the proof in the puddin!

Was a bit hyped about the game but really didn't like it. Fight mechanics just weren't that good. Perhaps I was jaded by Call of Duty4.

i didnt' like it, i forced myself to play the full demo to see if i could get into it but it didnt work

"I envy you. You North Americans are very lucky. You are fighting the most important fight of all- you live in the heart of the beast."

Ernesto "Che" Guevara.

Even though I don't own a PS3 this game's had my attention for a while purely because it's Free Radical behind the wheel and I'm a huge fan of the Timesplitters series. I'd be quite disappointed if this didn't deliver because going off Goldeneye, Perfect Dark and that series, they seem to know what makes a great FPS.

I'm wondering if Ubisoft's publishing has anything to do with the overall quality, I imagine they've had some kind of input or dare I say interference with the game's development?
