Kid Icarus is almost confirmed and still a rumor. They aren't mutually exclusive - infact, the 'almost' means that they necessarily come together. The news we have from F5 is that they are working on a Wii Game. Nintendo would make this a secret becuse they had a lot of games coming out the first half of this year, and prefered to promote those.

 OK, THANKS... So this is  confirmed not just officially I think we will see this game at E3. So this is the first time Ninty will attract core and mature gamers this time. I wonder if this game have blood and violence in it? Seem in the artwork we can confirm it is.

E3 2008- Armageddon. Wii motion plus introduced. Wii Music. Reggie says Animal crossing was a core game. Massive disappointment. many Wii core gamers selling their Wii.

Dont like the mature face. I think Kid Icarus or Icarus will be better off if the story will evolve around the TEENS age.

Well, if they do have this as Pit, I at least wish that they start you off as the SSBB Pit at the beginning, and then introduce this older version after you get cursed during the game, and thousands of years pass. I'd accept that I guess. But starting off with this one from the beginning is something I don't quite like at this point.

i am not feeling the concept arts at all. i grew very fond of nintendo's updated look of the character and am hoping that factor 5 would stick with that look instead.

Hope it's not true. KI would be nice tio see again, but I'd like to see Kid more then Man Icarus.

- early Factor 5 pitched storyline involves Pit being “cursed for thousands of years for a crime and becomes a ‘fallen angel’.” He sports a tattoo on his arm to mark his crime

Ugh. You couldn't do more to make me less interested in this game if you tried. Kid Icarus is supposed to be a relatively light-hearted game, not a God of War copycat clone. Seriously, a tatoo?! While we're at it, let's give Pit a scruffy unshaved look and have him take part in some Xtreme Sports! After all, that's what 15 year olds think is awesome, right?

And no offense, but the notion of the main character being cursed and turning into a "dark" version of himself is about as cliched as it gets. (Didn't we already see this a dozen times already, in series like Prince of Persia and Jax and Daxter?) I'm very much hoping that this is a fake, and that the developer comes up with something better.

 It would be funny though that factor 5 is making a god of war killer :)
