I think that Sega should take this opportunity to hype the "Amazing" 10 year lifespan of the Dreamcast and announce a follow up console ...
That's not going anywhere. How many games like that exist? I mean, what's the point?

Please explain the point of your post.
If you mean what is the point of releasing new Dreamcast games,well maybe it is to make money,granted not a lot,but the Dreamcast communityhas bought all of the published games in the past.It is cheap and easy to develope for, and the games generally sell out quite quickly.
I only wish that some of the games made for the Dreamcast arcade system(Atomiswave)long after Sega had dropped their support for the Dreamcast,would be released.
Here is a list;

The ones I would like to see released are- Dolphin Blue,Metal Slug 6,Maximum Speed and Faster than Speed.
Yes DUX does kind of look cool.

NCSX is now taking pre-orders for it as well;

They have doubled the number of copies being pressed from 1,000-2,000 still not a huge amount by todays standards.

Wow, wat an R-type rip off, but since there isn't a R-type game coming out (besides the SRPG one for the PSP) it looks tempting.
Very nice!
I hope that it can crack the top-10 in Japan like Triggerheart Excelica did not too long ago.
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
Yes, THE did sell very well when it came out for the Dreamcast, and it's selling quite well on X-box Live also for only $10.00. The developer Warashi has thankfully made a few bucks on the game, but all of the shooters made for the Dreamcast have basically sold out when released.
The only one still in stock is last years Last Hope, from it's developer Redspot Games. The re-issue of Border Down earlier this year for $50.00 seemed to just put Brand New copies into the hands of the sellers who are asking double and up as the number of copies(on GD-roms)were way to low to satisfy the demand.
Only 2k copies for DUX seems very low as well, when THE sold over 30k-40k the few weeks it was available, the LE version sold out right away with only 5k units made.

Whoever says the Dreamcast should be killed, should be killed himself.
''Hadouken!''
The official release date is now August 28-FYI
