Fight Night Round 4 announced with Mike Tyson

Realistic boxing game coming to Xbox 360 and PS3 in 2009.

According to the announcement made today, Fight Night Round 4 will be made using a revamped game engine to further authenticate the fighting styles, punch impacts, and blocking moves of each respective boxer, including Mike Tyson and Muhammad Ali.

A newly included physics system also allows for missed jabs, glancing punches, knockout blows, and rough and tumble inside fighting.

"Fight Night Round 3 was a platform defining game as the industry transitioned to next generation consoles," said Kevin Wilkinson, EA Sports executive producer. "Fight Night Round 4 will change how boxing games are played and measured in the future."

Fight Night Round 4 is one of two boxing games being developed by EA Canada. The arcade-friendly Facebreaker launches on Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii this September.

It will be the young World Champion Mike Tyson boxer. Fight Night Round 4 should please boxing/ fighting game fans on both PS3 and XBox 360.

Mike Tyson was impossible to beat on the Mike Tyson Boxing game on NES. Mike Tyson was an extremely tough boss to beat in that NES classic.

Muhammad Ali is in it? That's awesome.
