Again, it's like laughing at a comedian even as he calls you an idiot and insults your taste. 

Which, if done well, can be hilarious. I have no problem laughing at my favourite things, opinions and beliefs being the subject of GOOD critical humor.

And where do you draw the line of what defines "GOOD critical humor?"

I liked this one. Unlike when he was criticizing our beloved Brawl, we can now laugh at how the complainers were genuinely stupid. =P

To all those amused by the "desperation and defensiveness of Wii owners", has it occured to you his Brawl review was by far the worst of his many reviews in being a review? His main complaints were how he and his unmotivated first-timer friends couldn't figure out the controls without reading the manual while horrible drunk (who could've guessed?), and how a player's skill makes no difference in the outcome, which is pretty preposterous in a game with this level of complexity. Then there was how long it takes to unlock everything, which is actually a pro rather than a con to me, but I guess could be an issue if you take the game to party and play on a Wii with no save file.

Sure it was as funny as always, but I can understand people with too little sense of humour getting pissed off. Yahtzee is usually this critical only towards bad games, and there was next to none of the "haha, yeah I know exactly what you're talking about" that usually makes him so enjoyable.

eh, I don't want to get in to trying to dissect and define what makes something funny. That's just stupid. So is calling a guy a sheep for saying he finds zero punctuation reviews funny even if they tear apart games he likes. There really wasn't much wisdom in those words.

You're disappointing me more and more stof. 

When someone is willing to go along with something another person says regardless of what that person is saying, it's sheep-like behavior.

well, in my opinion it would be "sheepish" to just throw away the own opinion of something (a game) in favor of his

but to me his attacks don't feel malicious, because he always manages to crack me up, that's why I like him so much, although I don't always agree with his points of criticism

for example as Parokki pointed out, unlockables are a pro in my book and not a con, but I'd really liked, if those unlockables weren't known to everyone and his dog month before release (I'd liked them to be surprises)

I don't really mind his reviews simply because I watch them for entertainment.  I know what to expect when I watch them and I pretty much get it every time.  ^_^
