Everyone with good taste thinks higly of Assassins Creed... it may not be the perfect game... but it does what it was meant to do with near perfection...

Don't want it to turn into an AC argument, but the game is far from perfect.

Tedious, Repetitive, Derivative are the only words that come to my mind when playing the game.

Do you ever read my posts or do you just post a random negative response because its me ??? I SAYED the game isn´t perfect... but you can´t say that it doesn´t pull off the middle-age atmosphere and the stealt assassinations with near perfection...

You said "near perfection"

It's nowhere near, also known as "far"

Im done with it for now...

I'm back to playing halo 1 on legendary and Ikaruga this week.

GTA4 was nice diversion but I never took the game play seriously just like in the old ones. Once you see most of the sights and kill a few hookers its back to business as usual.

I imagine that GTA IV will be all I'll be playing for a while, although I do have a back log of very good PS2 games to complete (Jak II, FFX, God of War). So I might want to mix up my gaming a little bit, particularly as I only have a couple of hours to go with FFX.

Debating with fanboys, its not
all that dissimilar to banging ones
head against a wall

@ DMJ: If you think Assassins Creed did not pull of the atmosphere and stealth action with "near" perfection... you cleary didn´t play the game... or you played it blindfolded...oh wait now I get it... you got the DS version... now I get it...

I don't have it but I know how you're feeling DMEister. That's the challenge I have with any open world game so I know it's not really a criticism of GTA4. It happened with all the GTA3s and even Godfather Blackhand, despite how much I really loved that one.

I just think that open world games lose some of the pull of more linear games and fail to really draw you in completely.
