I can't see the ps3 becoming number 1 and even if it does the competition is so much stronger this gen its dominance wont amount to software exclusives like last gen. Too many of the massive ps3 games have been delayed too many times for them to regain dominance, plus the shift towards a larger well of casuals means sony will never get the mass market like it had last gen.
