Forums - Sony - Motion steering in GTA4 is it any good ?

Sounds like i will need to try it out at the shops sometime.

I have concerns about motion steering in any game other than motorstorm which i know is at least reliable and usable.

Some demo 's/games  i have played were really bad (stuntman ignition)  or had stall-responce issues (blazing angles), feel ski (un-responcive).

If there is one thing you dont want is responce lag this can kill the enjoyment of any game.

Thanks for the replys so far - any further opinions I would be interested to hear now the game has been out for a week.

hmmm its kind of hard, u'll need to get used to it. Even driving becomes easy after some time. It works well

Also compered to motorstorm, hmm i played motorstorm a lot more so i find the motion controls easier..

I like technology when its moving forward..

Burnout and Warhawk are good for steering...flOw if you count that as "steering." I crashed with the helicopter fairly quickly and didnt have much patience to get through the GTA tutorial because the rest of the game was so fun. I'll give it another shot, though, because I love motion steering in the above-mentioned games.

Use it for reloading weapons is very handy.
