I would like to applaud the recent banning practices by the moderating team. I feel it is important that they know there is a quiet majority of posters who welcome the new attitude, and would like to see more of it in the future. The reality is the quality on the forums has suffered, because nobody was taking a hard line. Posters were not holding themselves up to a higher standard on their own, and moderators sat by idle as idiots ran riot over the forums. Bringing the discussion down into the muck. We need the hard line to keep the forums sharp, intelligent, and dignified.
I will now systematically attack every gripe that the malcontents spread against the moderators. They are basically based around utter anarchy and free ranging stupidity so it isn't terribly difficult. The first is this we do not need forum clowns, and we sure as hell do not need thirty of them. They contribute nothing to the discussion, and further more the only reason you like them is, because it makes you feel big to taunt and torment them. How vacant is your life that this is what you want to waste your time doing. Why not go find a dog to kick? You do not like these people you never did. You just liked screwing with them how mature of you.
The bannings are not parcelled out fairly. Wow a unfair system in an unfair world. Who did not see this coming. The wisecrack asside when you go fishing do you catch every fish in the sea. Does the cop catch every speeder on the roads. Unless your riding the edge it shouldn't matter to you who got caught, and who did not get caught. Your argument is empty. I suppose in your world we should let all the convicts out of prison, because the cops couldn't catch or convict them all. Any bad poster that gets banned is a positive step.
You say you do not understand the rules. What are you six? Most of you have been on the internet for years. You know the rules. They are the same rules that exist on every other well run forum on the planet. They are damned near universal. You might as well say you do not know how to count, or know how to read. You know the rules of the road. You know about netiquette. Are you afraid good then you will be on your best behavior always hey that doesn't seem like a major loss to me personally. Most posters conducting themselves in a reasonable manner rather then looking for end arounds.
This moderator is biased. Wait you were serious. Prove it create a wonderful post within the rules that is contrary to their personal views. Now if you haven't broken the rules, and you still get banned. Then you have a point, and everyone will know you have a point. Nobody should just convict a moderator on your say so set out to prove it. The fact that you cannot just shows that your the one biased with your wild accusations.
What your really complaining is about the balance of power. You want your side to keep its nimrods while the other side loses theirs so you can win a war of attrition. The more idiotic posts that agree with your point of view the better right. After all there is a war going on right? Well you would be wrong this is not a war this is a forum. You want word wars go find a chatroom, by the way thats where you should be putting those vacant one liners while you are at it. What do you care if your point of view loses the worst representitives. That just makes your point of view sound more enlightened. While the other side has a slew or retards running about.
I think I am not alone in being tired of the endless circle jerk these forums spent the last half year descending into. I want to see posters start treating these forums like forums, and conduct themselves in a respectable manner, and take pride in their posting. I want to see actual discussion make a return, and I want to read intelligent discussion. I am tired of watching a couple dozen idiots wasting valuable thread real estate with their idiotic banter. These forums used to be a lot more entertaining when posters were actually posting in a meaningful manner.
The moderators are not the problem, and quite frankly you complainers need to get off of their backs, and giving them a hard time. The posters they are knocking off are the problem. The moderators are the solution. You can be part of the problem or part of the solution. You know your posting habits have gone to shit. Take the initiative, and hold yourself to a higher standard. A forum should never be about tending trolls, and gross politics. Making snappy one line assaults, and playing at some imaginary war game. You should actually be getting intelligent discussion out of your time here. The only way that is going to happen is if the dumb posters are silenced.
The moderators are doing a very good job. I want them to know that, and feel no need to vindicate themselves. The whining needs to stop suck it up, and get smart about your posting. You owe it to these forums, and you owe it to yourself.
