Forums - Sony - Haze demo now available on PSN

Its not too bad actually! Think it may be worthy of a purchase by me.

Glad that i got to play the game before buying, was a bit hesitant with all the delays etc

Demo is 576p @ 30fps (noAA) according to beyond3d.

Thats just an aside, im gonna take a look if I can.

Tease.

First impressions (SP play only)...

1) Overall I was pleasantly surprised - looks like there really may be some depth to the narrative after all

2) Combat with Nectar is fun but seems almost too easy - but I guess that's the point

3) Graphics are not awesome but they're good enough for me if the story and coop hold up

4) Your movement feels a little slow next to something like COD4 - but I've still to play with sensitivity settings so it may not be a big issue

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

After the "GTAIV PS3 is 640p " fiasco I doubt many people are hearing beyond3d anymore. At least its forums.

Pretty good demo, very fun; big buggy though, my friend got stuck once through playing so hopefully that'll be ironed out.

Normal then Hard.  If you rush in you do seem to take damage fast, but if you hang back and rely on Nectar it seems like a breeze.  Just like in trailers opponents are painted brightly making it easy to target and take them out from cover.

I thought the background chatter worked very well and overall I felt the game was pretty immersive in terms of mood.

Reasonable - I think it is suppose to be easy with nectar. As the game goes you defect and then youre the one fighting the guys with nectar. (harder badies as the game progresses)

Can't wait to try it.

That makes sense - and given your 'commrades' are pretty annoying I'm guessing that's when the fun really starts... I have to say though I did laugh at their comments if I indulged in a little friendly fire.
