I hate Kelvin.

Oh yeah, I've never seen so much pot in my life. I'm not doing it that often since I just get way too high, but this year we definitely have more of a pot crowd than ever before. I tried the high plant once last year. It is NOT a good motivator to put trees in the ground for me. but some seem to work better that way.

Oh yeah, on the 28th, it actually hailed while the sun was out. It's moments like those when I just laugh deliriously. I screamed out "Merry Christmas!" and off in the distance I someone screamed back "HO HO HO!"

We scream a lot out on the block. It helps maintain sanity.

Oxymoron much? 

Ok, I'm off to check on my laundry and grab some dinner. Then comes another five days of trees in the ground and life in the bush.

Hopefully they'll have the dock built soon so we can go swimming with out getting completely covered in leeches. Not that the leeches are really a problem. They actually don't hurt at all.

Great fucking land this week. I hit 2,000 trees again yesterday despite an early close out. I recently nailed my spacing so I spend less time giving the rookie stare and I'm also screefing less which gets the trees in faster but tears up my planting hand a bit more. my new speed is causing me to skin my thumb on the kicker but I'm alright with that. I've also been told that my quality in unscarrified is fantastic, though I don't mind if I'm in furrows for the rest of the plant.

If none of that makes sense to you, I don't care.
