this is list is missing a lot of PS3 games...i wonder why that is *eye roll*

Please tell me the ones Im missing. Is every ps3 game coming out this year a big game?

And WoW:WotLK will be just as huge. I think it is a safe bet Age of Conan will sell a million copies within the first month, which is more than some of those games will be able to claim. And I can't think of more PC games at the moment but they will definitely sell better than 1/4 of that list.

Can someone give me the list of PC games this year... the cream of the crop...

I really don't follow PC but there is no reason why they shouldn't be included.

Isn't there a kirby game coming in 2008?

It does seem that way.    I've never seen so much hype for basically everything on one console.

And animal crossing too, but only in Japan.

SPORE - self-explanatory

Starcraft 2 - self-explanatory

Empire: Total War -  Sequel of Rome: Total War ( 2nd best RTS ever, only below Starcraft) and Medieval II: Total War. This RTS is a MUST for any Strategy fan. Total War is nowadays easily higher rated than Command & Conquer.

Mass Effect PC - self-explanatory

GTA IV PC - self-explanatory

Dragon Age - self-explanatory

Space Siege - From Gas Powered Games, makers of Dungeon Siege. This game looks a notch above it's predecessors.

World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King - self-explanatory

Warhammer Online - The supposed "WoW-killer". It definitely keeps the aesthetics of the boardgame.

Age of Conan - Big, big game. There is an expectation of having 500k to 700k players at launch, which would mean it'd have the best MMORPG launch ever possibly apart from World of Warcraft.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky - Sequel of the biggest surprise game of last year. The prequel sold 1.65 million, which is amazing for an unhyped, unknown developer with a new IP.

Storm of War: Battle of Britain - From Maddox, the developers of the best Flight Simulation of the last decade. This game will beat the crap out of Warhawk.

Sacred 2 - Sequel of the multi-million seller diablo-clone (and was one the best diablo-clone ever)

Mafia 2 - You just HAVE to include this one. It's GTA: Mafia-age. It has more style than GTA could ever hope for.

Then there are smaller games that won't sell as much, but some definitely will be great games: A Vampyre Story, Sam and Max: Season Three, Perry Rhodan, Disciples III, Jagged Alliance 3, Still Life 2, Cryostasis, Jumpgate Evolution, Worldshift, etc...

also, Battlefield: Bad Company, Disaster: Day of Crysis, Ghostbusters, tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the new world, Tales of Vesperia and Valkyria Chronicles are not big games. I don't think they deserve (or won't) to be in the list
