I use mobygames.com for info, they have alternate titles for games witch are released in Europe or USA under diferend titles.

Unfortunatly the covers are watermarked so can't be used.

But you can look for a game cover on specialized sites or (in my case) just scand the cover @ 300dpi - (also media and instructions - it's a gold source for collectors to know exactly what's in the box - what is the media artwork and the manual cover)

I have a question concerning boxart...

Xbox.com has official boxart for all the XBLA titles that are released but it seems many people are just using default images from various places (gamerpics, icons, etc). Is there anyway to upload the correct images then set it as the default picture that shows up? Some people have uploaded images and forgot to label them as front so it allows me to put a correct default picture but most are still wrong.

I'm just being anal but these look so wonky compared to other releases which are for the most part uniform.

I added descriptions on these that didn't have them and updated a few pictures that were missing on other arcade games.  Should I continue to post these here or PM a dbmod?

pm, or we'll end up with the disaster of a thread that the duplicates thread turned into. Game mods can't edit posts, so it got out of hand. You could also use the report problem button if you feel like it too. Just give a good description of what needs to be fixed.

Contra for XBLA is not in the database. I tried to submit the game but it gives me the error saying it's already submitted. I double checked and it's def not there. Super Contra for XBLA was also missing but I submitted that one fine.

Mostly just use your judgement. If you can easily see it on a 1280x1024 resolution screen then it is fine by me. If I have to strain to see it, then it is too small. I prefer full resolution screens if we can get them, but it isn't necessary.

If I click on a picture to zoom in and it gets smaller or stays the same size I will get rid of it imediatly, as it is too small.

this is about as small as any image should get (this one is for the GBA). Console images should generally be larger.

This is because the game was deleted from the DB. If you get that message, then just PM a game admin and your problem will be taken care of.

Also, I undeleted the Contra game for XBL.
