Wii Ware question (in general this extends to all consoles download services).

Someone set the publishers to Nintendo, instead of the developer who released the game. However, there are a few games (FFCC for example) who have the developer as the publisher. I think we should be consistent. Which way are we doing it?

I don't think any of the games released so far should have Nintendo set as a publisher. If anything, it should be set to unknown until the publisher is added to the list of available publishers.

@Machina-AX: Yes, go ahead and do away with the old ones if you are submitting a new one.

@norDlead: That was bugging me too, but I accepted a few like that. Seeing as how you feel the same way, it made me feel like I wasn't just being anal about it. So I went and deleted the ones for non-Nintendo games with Nintendo listed as the publisher.

I don't know if its been brought up yet but I keep coming across screenshots that are just thumbnails. When I click on them it turns out that whoever uploadedthem just uploaded the thumbnail, making it impossible to see.

Also, is anything going to be done about changing existing release dates? I keep seeing a few games with that old default 1986 date but there's no way to actually go in and change them.

I guess my summary of Pong the next level wasn't good right? It is like a week ago that I writed it and still not accepted =p?

Our queue is usually clear, close to clear, or flooded with submissions. Given that we only have a couple jobs right now, your summary was likely rejected.

Well, it's a pretty annoying thing. A lot of games have incorrect release dates (remember, it used to be that nearly anyone could submit info). The only way to change it is submit a correct release date and query one of the DB administrators to delete the old, incorrect one.

@Claude: I actually had uploaded some like that a few months ago, but have been replacing them when I have the time. I've noticed screenshots like that from others, but I leave them be. I think it's far better to have some tiny screenshots than to not have any at all.

I'll apologize for producing a dupe the other night. I realized it after I did it, because it came up in one of my later searches. I'll be more careful and diligent next time :)

In fact, it got accepted.  This guy should be removed from the database.  And question, is there any reason why I can't upload box art?  I always get forwarded to a page that says "Game no longer exists on database".
