Wii fit comes out this Thursday in Oz!!! Who’s fully psyched for its release!? I’ve been putting off exercising just to wait for it so I can get the most outa this game! Can’t wait to start pumping some Wii iron and get my fitness back up! (Lost it all when I got a car…ha!) I got my copy pre-ordered at Toys R Us so I get a $20 gift voucher which is going to come in handy for Mario kart ;) I’m fully keen for the snow boarding, does any one from Australia have any Oz expectations for the game and its release?

I haven't pre-ordered it. Only cause i don't think they'll sell out. The dude at JB said they have plenty and that mainly chicks were pre-ordering it.

I am looking forward to it though. Snowboarding will be sick. And i think the board is a must have for future games to come that will be compatible with it.

BTW - how much was it at Toys R Us? I can't find it for less than $149.

yeah, its $150 at toys R us and if you pre order it then you get a $20 gift voucher when you pick it up, making it $130, it was the nicest deal! www.palgn.com.au has a list of sales and stuff at all the major retailers in Australia, thats how I found out ;)

I was the first to pre order at my local toys r us so yeah i agree that it prolly wont be a sell out. I wasnt going to pre order it cos I figured I could walk into a shop thursday arvo n grab one but I saw that deal and had to pre order it!

WOW sight n sound has it for $129.95, pretty much the same as toys r us without forcing you to spend your saved $20 at their store

What's wrong with that? I've been eating two dusted jam and cream eclairs every lunchtime so that I can maximise Wii Fit's effects. I don't know whether it will work, but those eclairs are tasty.

@Nebnosneh: That is their cheapest price, but the catalogue scan they have on the site has it listed for $129.95. I think they may have mislabeled a Target catalogue by mistake. In the KMart catalogue I have in front of me here, it's $119.

@SnowWhitesDrug: I can't wait to go skiing. As for expectations, I expect skiing to rock.

yeah seems like $130 is the best deal all around, I tried out a few of the wii fit excercises in my living room the other week imagening I was playing and man I cant wait! why? Cos I absolutly suck at the excercises! what happened to the days when you could drop and do 20 push ups just like that! I strugle at 2 now! man... its a shame! I'm gonna be doing be4 and after photos of me and the wifey cos I really like the whole tracking your progress idea.

I've lost all my strength :( video games are to blame so its only fair that now video games make up for their damage!!!

Preordered at EB.. currently looking into where i can pricematch it.. best i've found in melb is Myer, which is odd in itself, thats $140
