The hardware could be a new attachment for the Wii Remote. And everything you said agrees with what I was saying doesn't it shams? Because I agree with everything you're saying (about E3).

Ill stick to the idea of a Kid Icarus game. Nintendo needs more franchises, and in in my opinion Kid Icarus is perfect for Wii. Lots of potential good controls, style of the game could atract both casuals and hardcore, etc. And about the change of style of Link, that was an experiment, and well, they learned their lesson.
kid icarus is cool and all but nintendo needs to buy Karnov from data east and make it new gen . lol

Nintendo won't expand hard drive space, why would they? Even if you buy 50 virtual console games, you can just delete the ones you don't want to play, and download the ones you DO want to play. Considering how small most of the games are (besides N64), I don't think thats a big priority for Nintendo.

0% chance I would say.
They are having production issues (not enough) as it is with the Wii. They wouldn't do anything that would result in lower production levels, confuse consumers (2 models? why??) or increase the price.
95% of Wii owners do not need extra storage - yet anyway (hell, even Im not close to filling my 512MB.. and I have tried). Plus the USB ports are there, so they should get some use.
And to make matters more complex, transfering VC (and other data) from Wii to Wii is not a trivial matter. Unlike the DS, they will discourage people from needing to purchase a 2nd Wii - for now anyway.

| shams said: It could be 100 things... but here is my guess: A new handheld ("GameBoy Cubed"?) - the long rumoured handheld that will play GC games. Disc based, if its true - hopefully will play GC discs directly. If true, it would kill the PSP forever. They won't announce anything that will directly impact the DS or Wii....unless.. it IS the new model of the DS (still DS compatible - not a DS II) - the DS Deluxe (DSD). - digital distribution support (say 4Gig of flash mem built-in) ..yadda, yadda.

wait wait, so you want nintendo to copy the Sony route even though the DS is beating the PSP? releasing that kind of a hand held would be retarded right now.
Why would they even go for that? The DS is the way to go for Nintendo not copying the PSP way right now...

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!
I for one would love more hd space or "built in flash memory" im not to fond of only holding a certain amount of vc games in my wii and having to delete and re download

It would have to be an add on. Anything that would increase the price of the actual system itself would a be a terrible idea. One of the big selling points of the system was that it was cheap to make and buy. Maybe they are bringing out the lightgun thing for the wii-mote? I would love to see a few good lightgun games.
Yes
The add on for the wii-mote that lets you hold it like a gun. They've shown it before. The wii should be perfect system for some light gun games. I'm thinking most likely sega with virtua cop and house of the dead.
Yes
