Disc based, if its true - hopefully will play GC discs directly. If true, it would kill the PSP forever. They won't announce anything that will directly impact the DS or Wii....unless.. it IS the new model of the DS (still DS compatible - not a DS II) - the DS Deluxe (DSD). - digital distribution support (say 4Gig of flash mem built-in) ..yadda, yadda.

Why would they even go for that? The DS is the way to go for Nintendo not copying the PSP way right now...
