Well, it seems to be a big enough issue for R* to release a statement and suggest fixes.
Whether that's them being nice to a handful of PS3 owners or there's is actually a substantially number(note doesn't necessarily mean large number) of PS3 owners experiencing this problem, guess it depends on how you intepret it.
