Forums - Sony - Your Top 5 Playstation 1 games?

1) Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain
2) Silent Hill
3) Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee
4) Fear Effect
5) Rayman 2: The Great Escape

EDIT: By the way, both Oddworld games sold enough to earn "Greatest Hits" versions, so they were more popular than people nowadays give them credit for.

"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."

Boycotting the following:

1. Yoshi: He ate my car and spit out a toaster.

2. Igglybuff: Totally false advertisement. You can have as many as you like they don't buff nothing.

3. the Terms Hardcore/Softcore... We're talking Video Games. Not Porn.

4. The term Casual as relates to Gamers: We make them sound like outsider's that happen to play games.  If that were the case they'd own a PS3.

5. Donuts.... Beacause I drink Beer...... and the biggest fan of Donuts hates Beer.

OMG, I can't believe I forgot Castlevania: SOTN. My top 5 is getting harder to maintain, lol.

@Kasz216 - I'm sure you're right about the Chrono Trigger remake, but what was wrong with it........or was it just everything? lmao.

Well the only advantage was a couple movies at parts during the game, disadvantages included the music being horrible washed out, loading screens that took forever and I want to say the character colors were a little washed out too but i may be wrong.
Don't let the fact that it's mostly SNES ports fool you though, i loved my PS1, it had a lot of great original games.  It's just i'm a SRPG/RPG fan mostly and RPG wise nothing beats the SNES.  PS2 comes close with it's pure volume of RPGs, but none are up to the SNES RPGs quality waise in my mind.
