They obviously don't understand what the guys at Beyond3D are doing when they check the rendered resolution of the game. It sounds like they think the output is the rendered resolution, and we all know the output is 720p. The rendered resolution, however, is 640p.
I don't have to remind anyone here that the techniques used at beyond3d, aside from being very simple and easy to understand, have been proven to work in the past. They also discovered that Halo 3 wasn't rendering in an HD resolution, which Bungee promptly admitted and downplayed.
Beyond3D hasn't been wrong yet.
Leo-J: Do you seriously expect us to believe a writer at gamesradar who obviously didn't take the time to understand how the rendered resolution is determined instead of someone who has been right every time he's done this?
