Forums - Gaming - Gametrailers shows big pop-in for PS3 version of GTA4

It happens at about 02:45 (about 3/4) into the video during the helicopter scenes. A building just vanishes and pops in for the PS3 version, but not for the 360 version. Do you think Gametrailers is biased or is the PS3 version experiencing more pop-ins than people initially thought?

Barely pop up in either! Both versions looked identical. 360 was crispier.

who cares, stop analysing and start enjoying.

The game rocks, enjoy it on whatever console you own.

Enjoying it very much thank you, but with the amount of pop-in assessments people are making for the 360, I wonder whether this was deliberate.

Agreed. Could you imagine if OoT was multi-plat, and 50% of the threads you saw were comparing the PS1 to the N64 version?

Just enjoy the game. It's incredible.

They look really close. There was pop in at the time you mentioned.

Overall looks near identical. Some parts the PS3 looked better (Niko looks tanner with more color at one point), but others the 360 looked better (the textures on the kitchen sink).

I've played the 360 version for a few hours and I only saw one pop-in occur, and it was on a texture, not an object. I think these claims about pop-in are not that relevant...

Well, this is certainly a stark contrast in response to the thread compared to the one that put the 360 version on trial for similar reasons.

You guy's seriously love witch hunting this type of stuff, don't you?

You guy's race to post this type of shit every time a multi-platform game is released. My question is: does it even matter? From what I see, it looks like the same game on both consoles. What's the point in trying extermely hard to find the slightest difference between the two versions?
