I agree with this post except one area.  There were some that believed star ocean was possible, and I including many others are almost sure Dragon Quest 10 will come to wii if not ds. I'm kinda 50/50 on final fantasy seeing as you can't really tell what square does with that one. Now if these games should be on the wii I will say Dragon Quest is the only one that should be on the wii instead of ps3. 

I find it somewhat ironic that people bash the wii for being kiddy and yet somehow a game centered around Disney and its characters is expected to sell poorly on the system.

Normally I despise the rumor mill but in this case I think its clear the reasons for it to be a Wii exclusive make a whole helluva lot more sense than a PS3 exclusive, assuming of course its exclusive at all (which isn't a gaurantee).

The thing is that KH2 got 87% of its sales from Japan and N. America. Similarly, 85% of sales came from Japan and N. America for KH. And none of that is factoring in the final mix versions which were all Japanese releases and would skew things even further. So when you look at Japan + N.America whats the current situation? Between the two markets the Wii has about 71% market share.

You explain to your shareholders why you made that move. It doesn't make sense especially when you consider the strength of the Disney brand and how well it would resonate with "casual" gamers.

In terms of synergy the Wii and the KH IP are two things that go hand in hand, from the Disney background, to the Keyblade+Wiimote combo, the install base in the right territories etc...I can't fathom an intelligent move that doesn't at least land the game on the Wii in some capacity, it may not be exclusive but it would be one of the single largest blunders in the history of video games for them to make it PS3 exclusive.

The funny thing is I don't know that I would even buy the game, I've never played the game and I don't really know anything much about it...I have no strong feelings as to where it goes whatsoever. I just think its blatantly obvious that this will end up on the Wii somehow and if it doesn't one of two things will be true: Either the install base situation has changed dramatically when it's announced, or the person who made the choice is a complete bafoon. It really is that simple.

Lol I ain't wishing for KH3 to be on the PS3, I own both consoles, so doesn't bother me too much where it ends up. I'm just giving my reasons as to why I think it'll go to the PS3. I'm pretty sure Sony lost the DQ series for this gen anyway sadly. And FF will remain on the PS3 this gen. Thought I heard something about the producers saying it would be weird to take a step backwards after releasing FFXIII.

Well anyway, we won't find out about this KH3 business for a long time (over a year I'd say). Lets just enjoy us some Kid Icarus till then.

One interesting point I want to make though. If KH3 does come to the Wii, do we get to see Mario characters instead of Final Fantasy ones? I guess that'll be a refreshing change. And if you wack Mario on the cover of KH3 it'll sell millions hahahaha.

Both are indeed speculation.

Kid Icarus has been backed up heaps by the IGN guys I think, and they are usually accurate. Also the fact that Pit was in Brawl strongly implies they are reviving the character.

KH3 speculation is based on a couple of things, the largest one being that Disney loves Nintendo and Disney owns KH. Theres also the fact that both Disney and SE love money and the Wii has the largest userbase.

Just to post this again, what about factor 5? Are they the one who develop the Kid Icarus Wii? I wanna know, or is this still a rumor?

 Rumor, kid icarus is still a rumor btw. It just has so much things backing up this rumore we could say it will eventually be confirmed.
