I think there's plenty of fun to be had this generation with the consoles on offer , but I find this current gen underwhelming .SNES ERA =Super Wow N64 era = WoW , PS1 & PS2 Era = Wow , PS3 , 360 , Wii era = Um...
Maybe i'm less easily impressed because i'm older now , i'm not exactly sure. How do you feel about this generation ?
PS3 for me is almost my best console. This gaming gen is ok, but its not anywhere near the end.
The only thing i was impressed by during this generation was when i first played Gears of War...(b/c of the graphics). Nothing else has really blew me away, looking forward for MGS4 to do something.
Games-wise I haven't been that impressed because everything has been done before. I also dislike the fact that every console and its games are pushing online play. For someone that plays games for the single player experience rather than to play online to be abused by 12 year olds, I'd prefer to see that stay on the PC.
But like that's going to happen. :(
maybe because it just started or the truly great games are just starting to come out. Didnt some website call 2007 one of the best year for gaming. Trust me, this will be the best gen ever.

I'm extremely impressed by the Wii.
I'm pretty impressed by the 360.
I'm hoping that by the end of the year, I'll be impressed by the PS3. Tons of potential there.
Personally, I think this is one of the better generations of gaming. A ton of diversity in gaming.

Do you own all of them? I think the PS3 is a very impressive machine. 360 is pretty good but poor hardware quality and the Wii is... let's just say I'm not impressed by the Wii at all.

I have acess to all of them but I don't all three no ... I still don't think that would change anything though.
Im impressed by the Wii and the DS because they offer something new and different. I'm not at all impressed by the HD consoles, they are more of the same IMO. If Nintendo did not exist this generation I guess I'd be less interested in videogames altogether.
