"Anti-Wii Week" made GTAIV the highest reviewed game ever... Not it actually being an awesome game.

Do yourself a favor, go and play the game before you say it's not perfect. It may not be, but the mere fact that you'd call it imperfect without playing does nothing for your, or the thread's credibility.

Can these threads seriously stop? Stop hating on GTA IV, especially people who own the Wii and haven't played the game. You hear no PS360 fans hating on GTA IV... I wonder why?

Shouldn't you be playing GTA4?

Just as Any Nintendo game would do well to have anyone other than me come to its defense I think the same can be said of you trying to defend any PS3/360 game. Trust me, I'm not attacking you DMeisterJ, but even if GTA4 is being unjustly bashed (and its pretty clear it is), your comming to its defense only creates suspicion to the contrary. The further the distance we keep from the games we love the better off they are.

When you say it works for some threads are you including or excluding this thread? This is a ridiculous idea honestly. Yes, a couple of review sites are certainly going to bump it up a couple notches for not being on Nintendo, or being the last great hope to kill the Wii. Those sites get maybe 1,000 hits a week and no one pay attention to them.

The reason no PS360 fans rag on GTA4 is because berating a game is pure fanboy non-sense. Since the hardcore Wii enthusiasts will make enough threads slamming GTA4 for whatever reason the people who dislike the series will post their feelings less as the role of GTA4 hating is already filled. I could give you a list a mile long of things I hate about the GTA series that are almost certainly still present in GTA4, but why bother? No one really cares what I think, and I don't really care if someone else likes the game.

Jesus, let this be the VERY LAST WARNING AS I'VE GIVEN SEVERAL: these whines about GTA IV are going to simply have to stop.

There's a secret conspiracy to give games on non-Nintendo platforms better scores now? Please. Where was this conspiracy when Galaxy came out? Was that game just so good they couldn't possibly cheat it, even if they desperately wanted to?

GTA IV is an excellent game, and one of if not the best reviewed game of all time. It is not on a Nintendo system. I don't know why this is so hard to cope with.

Stop with these conspiracy theories and insipid complaints, please.

Here's my 2 cents:

When Ocarina came out and blew my mind and revolutionized gaming with actual NEW GAMEPLAY ELEMENTS, I couldn't really think of potential improvements for a long time.

Here's how you can improve GTA4.  (These ideas are free RockStar, so go ahead and steal them.)

1: add a jet pack.

2: add a time machine.

3: ride a dinosaur.

4: portals

5: magic

Oh oops, you're stuck with "realism," which cancels out all the magical powers OF RUBANG'S IMAGINATION.

Okay, if the reviewers start ragging on the game in a few months, for not ruining the Wii, THEN we can say there was a conspiracy. Until then, let's drop this.
