I think you can find fighting games on gametap... but that service is junk, in my experience.
And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... I need this. - The Gaming PC and PS4, and Xbox 360, and thePS3's . Well what are you looking at? What do you think I'm some kind of a jerk or something! - And this. That's all I need.

no wonder there are no fighting games on pc..... to make the experience worthwhile you would need a game pad of some sought and if its on pc the screen is much smaller, so might as well get it on a console anyway.
Fighting games suck on PC. They don't get released often because the experience just isn't that great, and as a result they do not sell very well. Some genres just work better on consoles.
There are no official fighting game titles for PC but theres THIS.
If anyone is even remotely a serious fighting game player, or you want to test your skills against people, check this out.
http://ggpo.net
"GGPO.net is a new approach to online fighting games. Traditional networking algorithms used to compensate for network latency result in either slower than normal gameplay or an excessive amount of delay (or lag) tacked onto the beginning of each move. GGPO.net uses a novel way to hide latency which lets the game run at full speed without adding any delay to any of your moves. So your timing doesn’t change and combos come out like butter. It’s almost like playing head-to-head in your living room!"
You can play Street Fighter Alpha series, Marvel vs Capcom, Darkstalkers, KOF98, Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo, etc...
Let me tell you one thing, this is BY FAR BETTER than any online fighting game released to date on any console. Input lag kills gameplay for fighting games and it was thought to be impossible to play normally online, but ggpo is actually playable. Sure, not perfect 100% offline emulation but close enough to play serious. Even hardcore offline players are seen on ggpo playing so that's definately saying something about this. Fighting game Devs should learn from ggpo.
crappy old school NES games are more entertaining than next-gen games.
Try Immaterial and Missing Power. It's especially awesome if you're into Touhou, but you might get something out of it even if you're not. =P
There's also Mugen, and loads of other freeware stuff.
Are there actually any fighting game fans on this forum???
Theres also this, which is similar to ggpo.net I'll have to try it out.

Whats sad is that these kind of PC emulator projects are actually better, and way ahead of Console fighting games with online mode.
Fighting game devs for 360/PS3 really need to start working on some good netcoding.
Your move coming out after 0.5 seconds after you press the button is not acceptable in fighters.

Mugen is the biggest fighting game.
Think twice before helping a friend in need.

A) There's tons of different gamepads for sale...I bought a dual analog with a ton of buttons for $20.
B) You sit closer to your monitor, so it doesn't matter that the screen is smaller, duh. Sitting a couple feet away from my 22" monitor is like watching a projector screen on a couch.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release. (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )
