In the past couple years, it apparently has become a requirement that if you

A) upload a video, be it Youtube, Gametrailers, wherever, and

B) you are a tool,

then you MUST, MUST use the Requiem for a Dream soundtrack in your video.

It doesn't matter if it's a video of your friends hanging out, a funny Rube Goldberg machine, a silly cat, you shooting up your enemies in the latest FPS, but anything will be cooler with the Requiem for a Dream soundtrack in the back.

Is it slow in the beginning of your video? No? It doesn't matter, the music starts out slow...you'll just have to deal with it...the music will get intense soon enough.

You don't really have to try to find a different song that matches your video better...EVERYBODY LOVES THE REQUIEM FOR A DREAM THEME.

It's sad, because I really love the movie. But now every time I see it...I think of the countless videos I've been subjected to...not forgetting countless big-name trailers using it as well.

This is one of Immediate Music songs (on a fan vid), I'm sure most have heard a few of their songs in trailers and whatnot...a lot of the songs are really kickass though...more refreshing than Requiem for a Dream day after day after day...argh.

It's nice though cause you can hear every single one of their songs on the official site www.immediatemusic.com

I dislike the "epic" of the song, as opposed to the slower parts with less instruments. Much more powerful, like in this part (no spoilers really, but if you've seen it you'll know).

If I had my way. All videos, themevsongs and soundtracks would consist of Yakity Sax.
