The Dreamcast has a very loyal following even though it was run out of town by the system that continues to compete at some level at the present time (pretty amazing even if it's not unprecedented.)  It was as you all know the first console to go online.  Although I believe most people would agree it got pwned pretty well, it has always had a positive image.  I was just wondering how many of you think it is worth getting one now.  I mean, I've played it before (mostly the Sonics and Powerstone) and I thought it was impressive.  It seems to have many good games:

1. Shenmue and Shenmue 2
2. Soul Caliber (one of two console games after Ocarina to score a 10 on ign.......you must know the other.......
3. Sonic Adventure 1 and 2.
4. Resident Evil: Code Veronica
5. Crazy Taxi
6. Skies of Arcadia
7. Jet Grind Radio
8. Phantasy Star Online
9. Powerstone 1 and 2.
10. Space Channel 5 (Epic, lol)
11. Blue Stinger

So, do you think it's worth buying now?  What are your impressions on the hardware and software? And any diehard Sega fanboy comments are welcome along with any serious posts.  Thanks!

YES! DC was excellent, that system and Genesis/Mega Drive were Sega's best achievements. Get Sonic Adventure 1 and 2, a few 2K games, Crazy Taxi, and Air Force Delta. You shall not be disappointed.

Unlike the DC, I was blessed enough to have owned the Genesis. Next to the PS2, Genesis might be my next favorite console. Many good memories on there too.
