for xbox 360 ive picked out as the ones to watch for as follows :

Fable 2 , Gear Of War 2, Splinter cell, Too Human, Halo Wars, Ninja Gaiden 2

and for playstation 3 :

Motorstorm 2, Getaway, Tekken 6, Little Big Planet, Killzone 2, Driver 5, Metal Gear Solid 4, Haze, Ferrari challenge

Both have a great lineup this year,as far as I´m concerned.

PC 2008 lineup is way better than both, but out of those two the Xbox 360's is better than PS3's.

I didn't know Alan Wake was coming to PS3 also.

 EDIT: The first few months are missing, would be best if we included them.

Great list. Unfortunately, 3/4 of your post are going to say either PS3 or X360 without a single line otherwise.

A few will say just "Wii" too.

See what I did here? Now people can't say that, as they'll do as I said, and thereby I saved the thread.

But as I said that, people will say it in protest... Aww crap, I killed the thread. Sorry!

Now this is spam, which will make me banned. I have to put in some context. Darnit!

Oh well, honestly, the Xbox 360 line-up appeals more to me, but as I don't own any of the systems, I have very little idea

I'm convinced that game is never going to release for any system.

BTW, that list is missing Banjo 3 and Resistance 2. If I noticed those two, there are probably loads of other games missing, too.

Thanks for the list. The XBOX360 has definitely better games!!!

As for Shooters Resistance and KZ2 , Call of duty 5 will be better as usual...

yes there is a few missing for both platforms, like as you said resistance 2 and banjo

but its a rough estimate list on what to look forward to

I prefer the PS3's line-up, it's possibly the best line-up of the decade. (no exaggeration, it seriously looks fecking awesome) Although I somehow doubt Killzone 2, LBP, Tekken 6 and The Getaway 3 will be out on the same day.
The 360's line-up certainly looks good, can't wait for Gears 2.

But as many people are saying- 2008 is the Year of The PS3!
