Forums - Nintendo - Say No To H20: Water Levels

Is it me, or in water levels (like OOT's Water Temple) the difficulty is increased? I definitely couldn't beat the Dam part in TMNT (NES). In Super Mario 64, it was harder. No matter which game I play, when I feel a water 'mission' so to speak is coming up, I dread it. Do you think it is because of the breathing factor, or the lack of defense you have underwater? Usually weapons are taken away and there usually is a sense of urgency to avoid drowning. Add to that the fact I can't swim in real life and you got a slight nerve-testing experience! Share you thoughts on water levels. (Should've put this in the general Gaming forum but whatever)

The water level is the worst level in any game with a water level.

3D water levels are fine. 2D mostly suck, except for Raymans and DKC.

It's perfectly OK to put this here, just keep in mind that you shouldn't be doing examples on non-Nintendo games, because then you're in the wrong place... I think

That is VGChartz LONGEST review. And it's NOT Cute Kitten DS

Water levels all have these things in common:

1- The difficulty is increased (due to limited movement, items, etc.)

2- The music is calm sounding most of the time.
