I would be interested to see a link to the thread in which I made that claim KoW, as you seem to be referring to a specific occasion. I have never denied that I am a fan of the Xbox 360, but you seem to confuse being a fan with being a person that doesn't make every effort to back up their claims with evidence, logic, or a very large RUMOUR signpost.

 


 I would advice you to look up the definition of "fanboy", as I have told you so before.

You yeah, don't get me wrong, I'm actually very vocal that I prefer my 360. I'm just also not against trashing the shit out of Microsoft if I deem it necessary. To be perfectly honest, I don't actually see a large difference between the PS3 and 360. They play most of the same games, and to be honest I've had more fun with multiplats than I have exclusives so I really see most people fighting over peanuts. The only reason I haven't gotten a PS3 yet is because third parties were fucking up ports and games like Madden and Splinter Cell are important to me to function correctly. Now that the problems been alleviated, I'd like to have both so I can have my pick over which multiplat is edging out the other this month or next.

As far as you Starcraft, you have gone over to the darkside. I've always respected your opinions on Microsoft and respected that you will solely defend them when it's right, but you are going mad with this GTAIV nonsense. To be fair, so are a few Sony supporters, but you sir are taking the cake right now. That is not coming from a Sony supporter but a Microsoft one. Your contributions to the Gaming Discussion are making me not want to even go in there until this game finally comes out, when hopefully everyone finds something better to do than to measure dicks all day over whose is a quarter of an inch longer.

Exactly why I haven't posted much on the GTAIV thing, mostly because I don't want anybody biting my head off, starcraft officially alienated what is supposed to be a joint celebration of PS360 fans.

Whilst I fully understand that nit-picking and 'cock-fights' get to some people, I don't think you'll find I've said anything outside of the summary I just provided (a couple of posts above) when it comes to GTAIV.

Still, your opinion is your opinion.  Irrespective of whether your right or not, KoW is attempting to establish that I've been little more than a troll and a fanboy on these forums for months, which doesn't exactly tally with what your saying............

It's your need to reverborate your opinion in every topic regarding GTAIV, which there are many. It's the fact that after the 10th topic, you should have realized saying the same thing would yield the same results from your detractors. It makes you sound very desperate when you can't let it go and let the Sony fans have the victory for once. The bottom line is, if even by the slightest margin, the PS3 port came out better this time. Live with it, move on, and let them have their .9% margin of victory. None of what's been said has changed my mind at all about getting this for my 360, it hasn't come across as highly inferior by the reviewers so it shouldn't be such an issue. The only ones that should be pissed are those that don't own either a 360 or a PS3 because they can't play it. The rest of us should be celebrating a game that looks like it may actually dethrone the Ocarina of Time as the highest rated game.

i own a ps3 and 360 (love 'em both) and i'm getting a wii when brawl is released in the uk, but i have a natural preference towards my ps3.

So you're basically ok with being a moth to a flame, which in turn means your moths get attracted to your flame, and so on and so forth for 5 pages of nonsense. It needs to stop somewhere and it might as well be you. If you stop commenting on every single thead involving this game you will basically kill any pissing contest that will take place in it. I have my own opinions on the topic. I put them into one of the topics and left it at that. I don't need to make sure every single poster walking into every topic know my stance when the front page of the Gaming forum is full of GTAIV threads. If you thought the PS3 version was superior you could simply say "Congrats to the PS3 owners, you're the lucky ones" and then leave the thread. No argument necessary.
