Snakes are more deadly then spiders so I'm going with snakes.

Although when you wake up in the middle of the night with a spider running accross your face, It kinda freak the S*** out of you.

I forgot to mention that spiders are one of my favorite creatures. You have to admire their patience at setting a plan (web) and sticking to it, silently waiting for something to get trapped in it. They might wait months for any food, yet they do so patiently so as to not blow their cover.
