Neither. My roommate is scared s**tless by spiders so I've been thinking about getting one as a pet.

It must be nice having a lady as a roommate! (Oh, your roommate is a male...)

If it's a small spider (a centimeter long or under) I have no problem with them at all and will regularly shoe it on to my arm to walk it outside.

But if it's much bigger than that, I would be pretty quick to brush it off of me.

I don't know why but I get terrified of spiders.

spiders for some reason are one of the only land based creatures (some of that deep sea stuff is really creepy) that truly freak me out (they only freak me out if they are crawling all over me.  ex: brushing into a nest while crawling through a dimly lit crawlspace to retrieve my atari 2600 from storage).  i suppose snakes would be freaky if their were any ones that could do harm to you in my region (the only poisounous snake in bc as far as i know is the pacific rattlesnake and it only lives in the desert around osoyoos in the bc southern interior)

in conclusions spiders are scarier. 

Spiders - I have arachnophobia so I'm terrified of any spider.

I actually really love snakes they are well cool

I don't care to spiders, unless it's a huge one with fangs big enough that you can see it, then it will get the shoe.

I think a snake in my house or in the streets would scare the hell out of me though.

But still i'm sure that spiders on a plane would be way scarier.

They all look like that to me!

Now that's scary

If i threw a shoe at this thing it would probably bounce back to my face.

I'm not afraid of spiders.. snakes on the other hand freak me out
