I hate spiders with every ounce of my being. They terrify me beyond belief, as does anything with more than 4 legs in general.

So which is it for you?

Well, I with spiders, I always take a piece of paper and kindly escort him or her out of the house into a tree where he will encounter more food than in the house.

I've never encountered a snake in the wild, but they would probably freak me out a little.

(Note: there are no dangerous snakes or spiders in my region.)

I couldn't give two shits about snakes. Spiders, on the other hand, I hate.

Also, Mistershine, I can't imagine that snakes are frightfully common in Cornwall.

Spiders by far.

We get a fair few adders in the countryside in summer.

I generally run away and find one of my cats and shove them in its general direction to get rid of it.

Spiders, though I never really had a close encounter with a snake, but spiders freak me out every time I see one...

lolzers, I'd rather a spider than a cat. A spider might scare the shit out of me, but it won't bring me up in rashes, itchy eyes, and throat, weezing, and sneezing.

Spiders, snakes are sweet, used to have one as a pet before my mom found out.
