Well, it should be a lot higher in Japan simply because that market was given a much cheaper option to purchase.

Switch 2 is already over 500k in Japan. Wow! I know they have the most favorable price. At this point I doubt Nintendo is ever going to cut the price outside of Japan, but I think it would boost hardware sales a lot if they did. Those Japanese hardware sales are huge.

Even if true. It just means Nintendo has truly given up on Switch, and we shouldn't expect sales to recover.
There is a small error in the table on the original post. The 8 and the zero are mixed up on the Xbox Series YTD section so it reads 1082 instead of the correct 1802.
