Costco sells first party Switch 2 games somewhat cheaper than other retailers ($62 vs $70 for Bananza).

The only games I buy at launch are certain favorite franchises and niche games like Falcom games that will be hard to find later (and sometimes even that ends up not being the case).

For modern games, the best thing you can do is just wait it out. Even if companies like Nintendo don't want to reduce the price, the sellers on Amazon etc. will. You can also buy used. That'll save you even more money.

If we're talking retro... good luck lol. My only advice there is to buy carts/discs and not CIB. Other than that, you're just going to have to pony up.
