I said it in the PC thread and I'll repeat it here: thanks for taking care of the even this year, Rhonin. I appreciate it.

You're welcome.

Sure! I’ll join in, being finally a user on Steam. I’ll have to get my ID and such set up… whoever gets me will have the honor of deciding the first game added to my Steam library.

Glad to have you aboard, feel free to ask any questions you might have.

Glad to have you this year as well.

A rather nice mix of different genres.

Some notable runner-ups: Aloft; My Summer Car; Age of Darkness: Final Stand; The Headliners; Tales of Graces f Remastered; NINJA GAIDEN 2 Black; Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage; ENDER MAGNOLIA: Bloom in the Mist; Eternal Strands; The Roottrees are Dead; Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter; Beyond Citadel; Cardfight!! Vanguard Dear Days 2; Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector; Heart of the Machine; Airborne Empire.

And here is a carol to keep the Christmas spirit going.

Really enjoyed Spider-Man2!  The whole set of Spider-Man games have been fun so far!

I’ll have my Steam account set up once finals are done. As for the games I’ll be adding to my wishlist? I love retro, and I love anything that doesn’t have a lot of blood nor cursing nor witchcraft. I am an innocent little Christian who plays the E-rated Nintendo games lol so something like Nights in the Sky, Final Fantasy VII, Pipistrello, or Penny’s Big Breakaway would make me very happy! Though I also love trying new things: If there is any old game that you believe to be an “You have to play this game at least once in your life!,” then I would go crazy over that. I love those sorts of games.

It's a shame Sony has done so many U-turns with the way their games can be used on PC, with the whole PSN account necessity, even for some single player games, and then reverting it. I don't trust Sony enough to keep the current policy for a long period of time, and that makes me hold on any purchase of their games.

So, things like the Final Fantasy Pixel/Remakes would be ok? Or the Lego games (that are now on sale)?

Definitely not Lego— I’m not interested in kids games as much as non-violent. But something like FFRemakes would be cool! Tactics is one that’s been on my radar, though that’s a bit pricey.

Not all Lego games are for kids, but I get your point.

So, if Final Fantasy games are an option, would other RPG games work as well as long as they weren't too violent? Would franchises like "Tales of", "Ys" or "The Legend of Heroes" qualify?

What about other genres. Do you like sport or racing games?

Yeah those franchise would be cool! Though I tend not to be too keen on games which are too resembling of a Japanese art-style (e.g. Xenoblade, Fire Emblem, and Trails in the Sky are a bit much; Zelda BotW, TotK, Final Fantasy, and Dragon Quest are perfectly good!). As far as genres are concerned, I can be open to anything, though single player is my preference. Not big on sports games, though I do enjoy me some MarioKart and Kirby Air Riders, for instance.

Good to know!

I'm not into sport games either, nor horror ones, tho I've played a few Resident Evil games.

If you like Mario Kart-like games, there are some on PC as well, like the Sonic Racing games (the last one even has a demo to try).
