I have been reading about this culture war thing for a very long time and for the first time I am feeling sad by people's reactions. It is like staring at the abyss and the abyss is staring back at me.

It seems to me there is absolutely no turning back from the divide between sides right now. It is much worse than I thought.

One person at Sucker Punch doesn't represent the hundreds that made it.

Unless this person is laid off within a few days my point stands.

There's even college teachers cheering his death on Facebook. How does that speak of these colleges? They should fire these people ASAP.

There is but it starts with the media.  Both the left and the right media spends 24 hours a day showing the other as evil. 

Give it a few days than before we jump to that.  Bad choice of words edit. 

I'm not going to pretend to be a fan of Charlie Kirk. However, disagreeing with someone doesn't mean they should be shot dead. That type of attitude and outlook leads to total anarchy.

I'm not really into conspiracies, but I'll post this for the sake of discussing various motives.

Due to how far away the shot came from, some people are speculating on it being a hit job rather than an angry civilian.

Personally I don't think I'd want to stand that close if I were to issue "baseball signs" to the shooter.
But the gesture looks at least sus enough that they should ask that guy some questions.

Stop cancelling people for their opinions.

I think firing someone from a job is much less extreme than jailing them, after all these people are CHEERING A KILLING of a man they disagree with poltically. You sound extreme.
