I've got 16 life of the gods, and 7 Lives of the thousand gods, and 80k essence left. I feel sorry for the women who can't handle this game. 

Damn, I've been playing Mass Effect all week, so I've fallen behind. Good thing I've got 2 weeks left to get these achievements.

How much harder is Mentor than Warrior? Any specific differences? How many more enemies, boss difficulty, etc.?

Also, are you going for a weapon achievement on your Mentor run?

Mentor is insanely harder than Warrior. Many of the regular enemies kill you in 2 moves in a span of 1 second. A bunch of the bosses have moves that kill you in one hit. There are definitely more enemies in the battles but it's more about how much harder it is to kill them and how much more damage they do to you with each attack. After each little fight I always go back to the last statue and save, that's the smartest thing you can do because enemies don't respawn in the game.

I've had to play non boss sections 15 or 20 times more than once until I got through it without using some health item. I don't even want to talk about how frustrating the boss battles are. The boss battles are probably the biggest difference, they all seem to have extra enemies around them as you fight them now and you have to know specific ways to kill them.

No way in hell am I going for weapon achievements on mentor, I'll use anything that helps make it easier. Anybody who tries this on mentor or higher, be ready for a nightmare.

Ugh, that sounds like a bitch. I haven't even unlocked Mentor yet. After initially beating the game on Acolyte, I simultaneously started a scythe weapon achievement run on Acolyte and a new game on Warrior.  It was probably a bad idea because I got bored quickly and turned to Mass Effect. The only difference I noticed between Acolyte and Warrior was that harder enemies make appearances earlier in the game and bosses have a little more health.

I'll attempt to beat the game on Mentor before I worry about the other weapon achievements. 5 gs is not worth wasting 6-8 hours for each achievement.

Have you tried the Tests of Valor on Mentor? Are they any harder? I've found there is no difference in difficulty of them between Acolyte and Warrior.

Yes I've tried each one on Mentor.  I beat all of them on warrior, I've been able to beat 3 of 9 on mentor.  Those are the only ones I could beat without using vital items for health.  They are much harder on mentor.

I finally did it I beat mentor! Only had to play the last boss about 35 times before I got him. 2176 kills, 439 deaths and I ended up with 25.1 mill karma. Put me at 835th on the leaderboards. Since most of the people around me on there were Warrior, I'm pretty sure around 500 people or less have beat this on mentor or higher so far.

Anyways, here's a good gauge if you are thinking of trying mentor. I died 53 times on Warrior before I beat it. I died 439 times on mentor (i don't know if this adds the 53 from warrior). So there's a little thing to show you how much you can expect to die compared to warrior.

439 deaths on Mentor sounds about right.  The first person to beat Mentor said he died over 400 times. I only died 4 times when I beat Acolyte and so far I've died about 5-8 or so times on Warrior (I'm near the end of chapter 4).

How many game hours did it take you to beat it on Mentor? Acolyte was 13 hours for me, but I took my time and on a few occassions left the game on the items menu while I took a break (that counts towards your final time). It was probably closer to 10 or 11 hours. On my scythe run I'm on chapter 9 and at about 4-5 hours so I should easily finish it under 8 hours.
