I agree it's repetitive. Fight a bunch of enemies through a linear level, fight a boss, then rinse and repeat. And, yes, the story is bit cheesy. But I could say the same things about Halo (except Halo has backtracking and no bosses). I still enjoy both games a lot. I don't play these types of games for the story. When I want a deep story, I'll play RPGs. Perhaps it has to do with age. When I play NG2, it reminds be of all those old NES/SNES/GEN side-scrolling action games I used to play when I was a little kid. The games that were way more difficult than they should've been, but gave you a great feeling of satisfaction when you finally beat them. Except NG2 has better graphics and one of the best combat systems around. |
Well..... I've played dynasty warriors for way too long?
That was like crack to me about 2 years ago.
And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one...
