Yeah... I'm up 755 points and another 100 by friday.

I guess i won't be "gamerscore whore" this week?

And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... I need this. - The Gaming PC and PS4, and Xbox 360, and thePS3's . Well what are you looking at? What do you think I'm some kind of a jerk or something! - And this. That's all I need.

Obligatory dick measuring Gaming Laptop Specs: Sager NP8270-GTX: 17.3" FULL HD (1920X1080) LED Matte LC, nVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M, Intel Core i7-4700MQ, 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3, 750GB SATA II 3GB/s 7,200 RPM Hard Drive

I pretty much have to give up on this competition because the thought of it is making me change my gaming habit. I play games to enjoy them, not rape gamer score. But this weekend all I could think is "gotta get some points!!!" and instead it should have been "F**k the gamer score I want to play Jade Empire some more." I'm guilty, but not any more.

I mean, I'm not trying to diss anyone but thinking about renting easy 1000 point games just to boost score is stupid. Yeah I got a 1000 points in King Kong, know what? I wanted to, I liked the game, I actually bought it and had no idea it was an easy 1000 points, furthermore I didn't even care about score back then when the system first launched.

But if this is going to become a competition of free time and cheese factor, I have to officially not care anymore.

It's just, a 1000 points in Call of Duty 4 is worth 10 times more in my opinion than a 1000 points in a game that just gives them away.

I dunno, I'm not meaning to diss anyone, but the whole point of video games is to have fun, not to push yourself to rack up a useless score just to one-up everyone else. Wanna go get a 1000 achievements in a game you love? Great. I just think its a little wrong to be ignoring the games you do love to just rent the easy gamer score fix games.

Who ever made this thread needs to update my Xbox Live Gamertag. I no longer use "ecurbj". I use "ecurbz" so please update it.

Second, I use to be a gamerscore whore or achievement whore but I'm now starting a new leaf on gaming. I like Japanese games and I will take the time out to explore games rather than worry about gamerscore points.

It was nice being one but I now see gamerscore points as bragging rights than anything :)

Well I'm not ignoring the great games at all, I mean I already put in 40 hours in devil may cry 4, same thing could be said about call of duty 4. I played alot of multiplayer (it doesn't even give you achievements) although now I play it on the PC, because my friends (not XBL friends) stopped playing it, so now i'm playing it woth some other friends on the pc. Oh and I also still play counter-strike aswell as having a Wii and Ps3, having said that I still enjoy to get achievements and I'm not only getting the achievements for this gamerscore competition, I've got a rival (is also a friend) who just passed me. Oh and BTW I didn't just rented King Kong, you can't even rent games here, I just have so many games still unopenend it's getting myself sick, I buy so many games which I do not even play.

I also got bully on the xbox360 but still I played it on my Wii because I like the use of motion control in that game. Someday I might want to play it again and then it will be on the 360 and I will be trying to get all the achievements.

I understand that this league is not for everyone, and not everyone can keep up every week just racking points. Achievements are meant to open up new areas of gameplay above and beyond the actual game to extend the experience. There will always be tedious ones, and easy whore ones, but that just means they will win one week. Try another week to win. Furthermore, there are 3 top spots to obtain for the league every week, so its just friendly competition.

This thread is also a good place to talk about your latest achievement, and if youve reached 1000/1000 on a difficult game. Its something to unite us all 360 owners on VGChartz.

I see, well King Kong is actually a good game, probably dated by now but I liked it.

I do give much credit to anyone with 1000 points in Call of Duty 4 though.  I managed to play through the entire game on Veteran (just started on that difficulty) and got to the last 30 minutes of gameplay and it got frustrating hard.  It was that part where you are in a missle silo near the end.  Anyway, did that over and over and over, kept dying for a week of trying, must have tried it 50 times.  Finally I said screw it, beat it on normal and traded it in.  Probably should have kept it for online but i was so pissed.

@EaglesEye, lol, don't think I'll be winning it any week.  I was proud of my measly (estimate) 350 points lol. Well, at least beats my 30 points for last week!

You can add me to the list.
My gamertag is bunny02256.
