depends on what you mean by flop.
Good games: All of them will be good games.
High sales compared to what's expected: All of them but KZ2 (I have a feeling it's going to release around the time of R2, and that would be bad for KZ2).
High total sales: Haze will sell low compared to everything else on that list, as it's the lowest profile game on the list.

You realize that LBP faces exactly the same problem you were accusing Banjo Kazooie of having in the 360 thread right?
As for Killzone 2, I really, really have my doubts.
starcraft - Playing Games = FUN, Talking about Games = SERIOUS
The only ones that might flop are Killzone 2 and Haze, since they are both first generation games from non-AAA developer. They both stand to have performance or gameplay issues, but hopefully their delays have fixed these problems.
Like I did in the other thread I will compare these to hype and sales, kind of.
1) Haze: Average, will see decently and will get decent reviews, maybe 1 million lifetime unless Ubisoft pulls something out of their ass that they haven't showed us yet.
2) MGS4: 'Nuff said. With the packaging it is pretty much guaranteed to sell huge and the kick ass special edition PS3 coming out with it.... Probably 5 million plus because Sony will keep the package for so long.
3)LBP: Below average. The game will be a hit critically but I don't see it selling big unless it is accompanied by a price drop to get more of a casual audience in that would be interested in a funky little platformer. 500k
4)K2: Average, will sell good but nearly as good as hype would assume. Again could be wrong since news about it went cold a while back. As is 2 million -ish for this game.
5)RFoM2: Huge hit. Sequal to big selling game. Probably accompied by the original becoming a Greatest Hit so the original will get a sales boost and that will get people interested in this. 3 million plus.
6) GTA4: 'Nuff said, if it doesn't sell 6 million lifetime it would be a disappointment. Seeing as sales will be split between PS3 and 360 I think that would be fair, 7 million PS3, 8-9 million 360.
I'm probably in agreement with most here:
Haze: Potential flop. FPS games need to do something rather noteworthy to separate themselves in an already crowded marketplace. Not sure Haze has that one defining thing that can't be gotten elsewhere.
MGS: Hit. The MGS games sell well. I'm not a giant fan, since i enjoy playing games, not neccessarily watching them, but they sell through the roof.
LBP: Probable critical hit. Probable consumer flop. Not sure this will have the momentum to become a commercial success. I have no doubt that reviewers and those who pay attention to the industry will be all over the game singing its praises. Those who don't pay much attention (and that is really 95% of the market) won't know the first thing about it, and just by seeing a commercial or box for it, won't have the slightest idea what it is. Would take a lot for sales to live up to the industry acclaim it will probably receive.
Killzone 2: I'm leaning towards flop. I managed a Gamestop when the first Killzone came out, and I had tons of our local rabid Sony fans lining up and anticipating the release. Not exaggerating, within the first week or so, probably half of them were traded back in. It did not live up to the hype Sony tried to put out for it, and because of that, I think a lot of folks will be hesitant with the sequel. For being one of the key titles in the Sony catalog at that point in time, the first KZ was a gigantic failure, not even getting to 1M copies.
Resistance 2: Hit. The first one is one of the definitive games for the PS3 so far. I'm guessing that hints at the sequel being quite successful.
GTA4: Hit. GTA sells. (And to any Sony-centric folks out there: Even if it doesn't sell as much as the 360 version, which it probably won't, it can still be a hit. Look at CoD4.)
The dedication you show to any particular console or company is inversely proportional to the number of times you have gotten laid. If you get laid enough, even if you prefer a certain brand, you just don't give enough of a shit to argue about it on the internet.
definitely flop: haze
posibly flop: killzone 2 because they hypeing this game as a new halo 1 and those high expectations will probably fail and we will see just better killzone 1 but not a really good game.
The only flop will be Haze.
Not sure with KZ 2.
GTA IV, R2, and MGS4 will be hits.
On current info:
1) Haze - modest success (neither hit nor flop)
2) MGS - Hit
3) LBP - Maybe hit - I say it better be otherwise I'll have to grumble how gamers moan for innovation then run the other way when they have to step up an pay for it
4) KZ2 - Maybe hit, otherwise flop
5) RFOM2 - Hit
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

If KZ2 turns out well, I don't think the faults of the original will have much impact on the game's sales, provided the game is marketed correctly.
Just look at CoD4. Stunning visuals and immersive gameplay have helped it to sell amazingly well despite the mediocre reception of CoD3.
Btw, Killzone sold over 2 million copies, according to GG. This site only has the NA data listed (~750k), and the game sold much better in Europe, where it was marketed more heavily.
