Have you ever tried Paradox's grand strategy games? A lot of people seem to love them, and based on my limited experience (basically Crusader Kings II/III), no wonder.

I have! Don't mind their games.
I just tried to keep it to my top 10, otherwise we would all be here for the next 10 years.

Games like Black and White, Evolva, Dark Reign, Sins of a Solar Empire, Deadlock 2: Shrine Wars, Giants: Citizen Kabuto, Company of Heroes, X-Com, Civilization, Total War, Dune, Supreme Commander, Warhammer, Anno... And a crap ton more I could have thrown into that list as well...

Ah, I see. I'm not a huge fan of RTS games anymore, but your lists definitely have some names I have some experience with and regard highly.
